A Little Clarity Before We Connect.
What is PH Connect, and who is it for?
PH Connect is membership management software for Prince Hall organizations, provided by Consulting Samurai, LLC. It connects Grand organizations, local bodies, and members through membership records, dues, financial reporting, documents, and administration archives. It supports lodges, chapters, councils, commanderies, temples, and Scottish Rite bodies.
Can the portal match our organization?
The preview shows body-specific colors and officer titles. Your organization's name, approved seal, and leadership structure can guide your setup.
Can PH Connect track local dues and Grand assessments?
PH Connect tracks local member dues separately from Grand assessments charged to local bodies. Officers can review charges, recorded payments, and outstanding balances in the platform. Online payment availability depends on the organization’s payment setup.
How does PH Connect help with audits?
PH Connect compares recorded Secretary or Recorder receipts with linked Treasurer acknowledgments for a selected period. The Run Audit button highlights differences and receipts that need review, with print and CSV export options. This receipt comparison supports an audit; it does not replace bank reconciliation or an independent financial review.
Can I verify a visiting member’s good standing?
PH Connect can search participating, approved PHA organizations worldwide by member name or membership number. Results show the organizational membership record and available standing information. The directory does not include every Prince Hall member; confirm identity and visiting eligibility with the member’s organization.
Can our organization sell merchandise through PH Connect?
The optional Grand Body store add-on supports apparel, rituals and guides, regalia, and custom product categories. Authorized officers can manage products, inventory, merchandise orders, payments, and shipping or pickup fulfillment in one place. Store activation and a connected payment account are required for online purchases.
What happens to our records when officers change?
PH Connect preserves records by administration. Past administration records can be archived and locked, while current membership profiles remain usable. Authorized officers can view archived records; corrections to locked records require the applicable approval workflow.
Can members use their phones?
The member experience is browser-based. The phone above demonstrates a scrollable layout for profiles, dues status, documents, and meetings.
Are the records on this page real?
The interactive previews use illustrative sample data. They contain no private membership records and do not connect to a live organization database.
